TAKE OUT THE TRASH OR YOU'LL BE SORRY!

Recipe to Cure Skunkism
1 pint peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda (not powder)
2 tsp. liquid dish detergent

A bath in tomato juice

and one can of Febreze..............

I took Luke to school this morning, and when I came back I heard some swishing coming from a trash can in the middle of our garage. It was more than a bag settling. The tan trash can had a few empty boxes on top of it, but I could see into the trash can from a spot that the box didn't cover, and I saw back and white moving. A magpie? That must be it - it flew in and is stuck in our trash can. I ran in and call Alan at work - he told me to go let it out. I told the kids and Grant ran out to see. When Grant came back, he asked me Mom I know that you are smarter than me, but don't birds have wings, I said "yes" - he then asked me if birds have long fluffy tails with a white stripe. Oh my gosh - I called Alan back and he just laughed - yea funny unless you are the one dealing with it. Grant went out again and when he came back in he was plugging his nose - I thought NO not on the last day of school for the year, "Grant you didn't get sprayed did you?" No, just kidding! - KIDS -
Grant and I went out moved the trash can in the middle of the drive way. I had to take a few photos, because who was going to believe us! After I snapped a few - my camera battery needed to be changed, so I told the kids to watch the skunk, and I would be right back. When i turned around in the office - all the kids were standing right behind me. I asked them who is watching the skunk, by the time we went back out, the skunk was gone - the sad new is I think that he or she is back in our garage.

I hope that we do not have to add to this post or use our researched recipe
