Remebering DAD

August 29th is both a happy and a sad day! Ali was born seven years ago at UVRMC what a blessed -day. August 29th 2004 at the same hospital UVRMC my Dad passed away - leaving a hole in our family. I will never forget my bothers lifting my father onto the bed his old truck - no Hurst for him - His old tractor driven by a grandson leading the way and the old truck taking my Dad to a place where he could finally rest. His whole life he worked and worked hard. I am sad for my little Will that he won't have all the tractor rides, black candy, garden trips, and hugs and kisses. I'm sure that Grandpa Stubbs checks in on us often. I'm sure that he is building on heck of a home for our family in heaven. I appreciate the gift of life and death and the promise we have from our Father in Heaven that if we live right that one day we can all be together again. Thanks Dad for everything - until we meet again.

Oh Thank Heaven Ali turns SEVEN!

August 29th was the big day - Ali MaCall Jenkins turned Seven! We had a dolphin swim party with 13 crazy seven year olds. The cake she wanted was dolphin flip flops, She had ton of people around her that love her - and some for all seven years. It was so nice to have Shelly aka - Michelle at the party as usual, it wouldn't be a party without her. She is always at the top of the kids lists. This year we also had a friend of the family stop by and help Becca - thanks a ton. Everyone Loves Ali!

Back to School - Today!

Oh my joy is full! August 20th is back to school for the Jenkins kids. This takes me from five kids at home to

one - maybe two when Alan is home. It was like a movie, with emotional music playing in the background as Will and I waved goodbye to the kids, watching them ride off. I asked Will if he was going to be my new boyfriend, he said no, that if he was my boyfriend Dad would feel bad, but I can still kiss him. Oh lucky day!

Fish aren't the only ones that SWIM!

Today was the last of our swimming lessons! Brooke and Grant did so well, and had a wonderful time. Ali got the hang of it and decided that the water could be her friend. Will or Fearless Will as we will call him - took to the water like a fish. I got a real kick out of watching all the kids - esp. that little motor man. All you could see is our 4 yr old wonder under the water motoring around. School starts in less than a week. YEA!

Will Our BYU Summer Preschool Boy!

As of August 7th - Will finish his summer session of BYU Preschool. His teacher Mrs. Dorrie - as Will says "you know Dorrie not the blue fish but the teacher Dorrie". BYU has such a wonderful program - even with gas prices it is worth the drive. Lucky for us we were able to car pool with some neat friends - Jacob, Anna, Bella, and our own star Will. The conversations of a car full of preschoolers is a hoot to say the least. We are grateful that Will can return to the BYU preschool again this Fall.

Pink TuTu Sweetness!

I had the fun opportunity to photograh a new little one - baby Marina. What a sweet pea, you gota love the bran new little ones. Sugar right from heaven.
