I ran across a card that was attached to a Christmas gift given to me from my Mom and my Dad. My Dad has been gone for three years now and I still can't open the gift. I know what it is all my siblings got the same sweet nativity the has a music box attached, that plays "Silent Night." The card reads -
Jesus is the reason for the Season
Though time crumbles stone & the story
Grown old-yet the shepherd still watches
Over his fold. And his star still shines over
City & Mart & his voice still speaks
to the listening Heart.
May we all listen, love & serve like they did
In the Christmas story "The Last Straw"
Daddy & I wish you a "Silent Night Christmas".
Take time to reflect about the
true meaning of Christmas.
